Information and News About Our City Fire Department

The Fire Department is closed on all federally recognized holidays. If the holiday falls on a Saturday, the office will be closed on the Friday before. If it falls on a Sunday, we will be closed on Monday immediately following the holiday.

The Bradford Fire Department is made up of 25 very dedicated individuals. They stand ready to help in any emergency situation whether it is fire, rescue, storm, and also serve as First Responders. Chief Alexander has served with the Fire Department for 10+ years. With his knowledge, leadership, and experience, Chief Alexander has proven to be a great asset for the City of Bradford and its citizens.

The Bradford Fire Department participates in grant writing for new and updated equipment whenever possible. In partnership with the county, state, and federal government, the Bradford Fire Department works hard to exhaust every avenue in search of assistance in funding for projects, purchasing equipment, and training our personnel.
